Calathea musaica

Other Known Names: Calathea Moasic or Goeppertia musaica

The Calathea Network features a striking, intricate, leaf pattern that resembles a mosaic or “network” system. The leaves of this Calathea are typically oval to lance-shaped with a pointed tip. Foliage is deep green, providing a rich background for the network line pattern to contrast against.

Caring Tips;

  • Needs bright, indirect light to thrive. Do not expose your Calathea to direct light as this burns their leaves.
  • Loves a warm and humid environment. Keep soil moist (not wet) by watering regularly.
  • Use a well-drained potting mix soil for your plant to prevent water logging.
  • Fertilize your Calathea every 4-6 weeks with a well-balanced, water-soluble fertilizer during the active growing months (spring to early fall)
  • Calatheas are considered a pet-friendly plant.
