Background Details:
Royal City Nursery is a family-owned and operated business (est. 1962), now in its third generation of ownership under Tanya Olsen (BLA), that provides quality plants, seasonal décor, landscape design services, and expert guidance about plant care to the local Guelph and surrounding community.
In November & December, our large greenhouse transforms into a holiday wonderland: featuring fresh-cut greens for customers to create their own porch pots and other seasonal decorations, artificial and fresh-cut trees, beautiful ornaments, as well as lighting and other Christmas decorations.
This beautiful space is unique with its festive atmosphere, natural light, refreshing evergreen scent from the cut greens, and high ceiling. We are looking forward to welcoming a curated selection of local vendors to feature handcrafted items and gift ideas, with an anticipated maximum of 25 vendors.
Customers often shop with their pets (leashed pets welcome in-store) and we also have free kids’ activities available (connect 4, colouring table, scavenger hunt). Live music has already been confirmed for all 3 dates.
Vendor Call-Out:
We are seeking a variety of local vendors to our Holiday Markets with handcrafted products that would be appealing for gifts, such as:
