Kids’ Workshop: Make Your Own Grass Head (‘chia pet’)

Get growing indoors with your very own grass head!

Kids (with adult accompaniment) will make their own ‘chia pet’ or grass head, with panty hose, grass seed, and creative options for customizing the face and ears.

This is a great Earth Day activity and a way to bring plants indoors in a fun, interactive way—the ‘hair’ can be chopped to a variety of different hairstyles as it grows.
