We are hosting a weekend of gardening-themed activities, education, and family fun and we are looking for local vendors who might be a good fit!

These are outdoor booth locations (approx. 10×10), so please keep in mind if your items and display would be OK in the wind and/or rain.
 
Because there is a fundraiser BBQ for the Kitchener Oktoberfest Lions Club (supporting vision-impaired individuals), any food vendors must be complementary (e.g. snacks) so as to not detract sales from the BBQ — e.g. popcorn, baked goods, etc.
 
We would love for you to apply if you feel that your products align with our customers who are interested in plants, gardening, outdoor living, dog treats (many of our customers bring their dogs) etc.
 
Note: only 10-15 spots available due to limited space. This may seem like a small market, but if you’ve been to a garden centre in May you understand how very busy it can be!
 
Food vendor application deadline: Friday, May 15th
Other vendor application deadline: Friday, May 22nd
 
Approved vendors will be notified by May 16th for food vendors or by May 24th for all other vendors.

What do I need to bring as a vendor?
  • 6-foot table, chair(s) and any other display items
  • Tent (optional – see above)
  • Sturdy, closed-toed footwear (mandatory)
  • Warm clothes (layers)
  • Food or snacks for yourself; water bottle or other drink*s(
  1. Outdoor vendor space of either 10×10 or 6 ft x 6 ft

  2. Sturdy metal wagons to help you transport items between your vehicle and your booth area

  3. Lots of promotional support: we provide digital assets for you to share on social media; we are also promoting this event via our social media (4,700 IG followers and almost 3,000 FB followers), in-store posters, on our website. You/your business will be featured on our social media to help maximize exposure of your business.

  4. Accessible washrooms & potable water are available on site
