Planting Notes:

• Plant these bulbs in fall to ensure beautiful blooms come spring. Timing matters – planting too early can cause bulbs to rot, while planting too late may not give them enough time to store the energy needed for flowering.
• Keep in a cool, dry place until planting between Thanksgiving and December.
• As snow and ice melt in early spring, your bulbs will get the moisture they need to wake up and grow. You can plant from September through December – even after the first frost, as long as the ground is still workable.
• To deter squirrels, try using hen manure. For strong roots and vibrant flowers, fertilize with bone meal.
