Heirloom Vegetable. Variety originated in France. Small, round, bright orange carrots to 3.75 cm (1 ½”) in diameter are tender and surprisingly sweet. Due to its small size, Parisian grows well in less than ideal soil. Super choice for the kitchen container garden. Matures in 60 days.
How to Grow
Sow seed in a sunny site with well prepared light soil after the soil temperature rises above 7.5°C (45°F). Germination can take from 14-21 days. Planting Depth: 6 mm (1/4”). Seed Spacing: 6 mm (1/4”). Thin to: 5 cm (2”). Row Width: 50 cm (20”). Keep seedbeds evenly moist and avoid crusting over soil during the germination period. Avoid high nitrogen fertilizer.
